March 18, 2026—Representatives from TX Home Collective visited the staff at Woodard Elementary School on Feb.16 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.
CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.
Alane Avila, team leader at TX Home Collective, shared that partnering with Woodard allows her team to give back and invest in the community.
“Our team chose to adopt Woodard because it’s a campus that represents the heart of our community and lives out its ‘ALL IN’ spirit every day,” Avila said. “Giving back is important to us because strong schools build strong neighborhoods, and investing in students and teachers is an investment in the future of our entire community. As a former school psychologist in CFISD, it’s especially meaningful for me to give back to the district where I grew both professionally and personally. The support I experienced from the staff at Woodard meant so much to me, and it's a pleasure to support the students, teachers and families who make the campus so special.”

Susan Brenz, Woodard principal, expressed her excitement about TX Home Collective’s commitment to supporting the campus.
“The #ALLINWolfpack was so excited to welcome Alane Avila back home to Woodard where she started as a CFISD psychologist and now has her own real estate business,” Brenz said. “As a result of her love of the Woodard staff, she has donated snacks and meals over the years. She and her team bring positive energy and enthusiasm to celebrate us, which is greatly appreciated. Her connection to the district has been a long-standing partnership where her commitments to staff at Woodard are unparalleled.”
